Welp. Mastodon.social tagged me as antisemitic for asking someone to not try to circumvent CW filters about religion, them refusing, and me saying I'll unfollow then. 🙃

I figured it might be linked, but I discovered SystemD is actually a pun between System Daemon and Système D in French (basically how people managed to survive during hard times : they got by with what they had and helped each other).
Honestly I love that this is one of the cornerstone of Linux distributions. It helps cement solidarity and hacker spirit in the ecosystem.

For those who want to stay away from this network, here is the post :

Let's be rational, for once.

I've been on the market for 13 years.
I got a French state college diploma from a reknowned school.
I did my first internship in a japanese laboratory.
For my first engineer job, I worked for a startup selling measuring tools to big names. I mean FAANG level.
Someone from Google said the software I conceived, designed and wrote for this company was the best in the market. For my first job. (1/6)

Ok I got very salty on LinkedIn for some reason

Hi Fedi,

We want to create a specific communication account for Pixelfed Glitch, the Pixelfed fork.

We are wondering were to host this account, so if anyone from related instances could reach out to us if they are on (especially if your instance is invite only)

I'll be tagging some instance we thought about:
@Framasoft
@fosstodon
@hachyderm

Please boost 🔁 :neofox_bongo_down: :neocat_sign_thx:

#Pixelfed #PixelfedGlitch

I had several side accounts on X for either communication purposes or shitposting. All deactivated at once today.
That should make some waves if a lot of us does that.

If I am insulting you in any discriminatory way, you can block me and call me out, I'd approve it and would completely agree I'd deserve it.

But if you think I'm being an ass or discriminating against you because I talked to you on social media, please first make sure you're not doing exactly what you sought to call out.

Do I need to add that disclaimer?

This is a microblogging platform, my posts are only voicing an opinion at a point in time and are not meant to dismiss yours but to complement each other. If you don't like mine then we can agree to disagree.

I know sometimes I'm going too fast to the point and not giving nuance. I'm sorry if I do, but sometimes it's just 4:30 AM and I just feel that stupid urge to say something before the posts goes away.
