So I finished up in my tech job on Friday. Planning to open a cafe and bookshop on 1st July. There’s a lot still to do and it’s pretty intense.

It’s called Ithaca cafe, and it will be at 8/9 Bolton street, Waterford, Ireland.

New pedestrian bridge coming along nicely in Waterford. It will finally link the city centre with Ferrybank properly and will also be the point where the Waterford greenway meets the Kilkenny/Wexford greenway to New Ross.

Mary Lou not allowed to challenge the narrative on housing. Almost needs 1.5 times the speaking time when the two other leaders are in complete agreement.

Simon Harris v Mary Lou McDonald tussle was quite entertaining. Two very sharp and dangerous operators in a debate. Simon bringing a few moves she probably hasn’t seen before but she held her own.

Please no more talk about bike sheds.

Jesus, when I hear about all the taxes being abolished, things being made free, etc etc, coming from all parties.

Just fix housing, fix the health service and deliver on climate. Keep the bloody money and fix the problems. (And improve the public realm, but if you do the above you get a pass.)
