Rón Inis means "seal island".

One of the things I've realized since I started learning Irish Gaelic is that "The Secret of Roan Inish" is not much if a secret if you understand any Irish Gaelic

There are a couple of ones I knew but forgot in there, but mostly clean. I did not know these articles.

You know how the identity to addition is 0, like 2 0 + is 2. Then, on top of that, you have the identity of multiplication that is 1, 2 1 * is 2.

Okay, so, add 0, mul 1, now. Is there an identity somewhere that is 2? Serious question, I've been scratching my head on this for a good 15 minutes and I'm drawing a blank. It's not pow, and it's not square.. It might be a stupid question, if it is, please do tell me it's stupid.

It would be wild if this poll were unanimous

Is unanimity in a decision-making body good or bad?

Sure would be a shame if a copy leaked.

My grandma served with the UN Aunties corps. They went into war-torn failed states like Russia, USA, and Britain and they healed them. So called peace-keeping forces had failed; violence—even the threat of it—begat only more of the same. It was a cup of tea, a friendly ear and a darned shirt that began the process of rebuilding shattered societies.

I'm just an old man yelling at cloud, but:

1. BUGS IN SOFTWARE EXIST.
2. Too many software companies run their customer support operations as if they don't.

Every few weeks for several months, I've been reporting the same bug in #Duolingo, and I've been getting a response from an LLM, telling me about a different way to report that bug. That different way doesn't exist in the app at all, but the LLM insists on suggesting it to me.
