Reaching the point where every exercise involves “do as much weight as you can physically muster” to try and force things to work properly and it’s exhausting

I went from 5->8kg as my bicep workout weight this week and jfc by the end of the third set of 10 I want a nap

god I hate strength training so much I can’t wait for my shoulder to fully heal so I can stop doing this quite so much

(But I have begrudging accepted that I probably need to do some amount of this forever now 🥲)

if your cabbie hits on you and asks for your number the ride should be free actually

“Danielle, du bist sehr hübsch. Ich wünsche dir einen schönen Abend.”

ok cabbie ok 😂

Having to continuously break down joint tissue at the same time as rebuilding muscle makes this particularly painful sometimes

physio / strength training is brutal sometimes.

The fact that my PT workout involves 2, 5, 6 and 8KG dumbbells (and 3 diff sizes of resistance band and body weight) and all are equally punishing for different types of movement is kinda ridiculous actually.

But starting to force myself to break through some limits again and 😭😭😭

Slowly getting back on the torch and I missed it so much

#Berlin folks! I (and some friends) are going to be doing live #glassblowing #demos at Glass Connection (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Glass+Connection+Berlin+e.V./@52.5244756,13.3519079,15z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x47a851e150bad471:0x2e2d6f9cb2d5069c!8m2!3d52.5244756!4d13.3519079!16s%2Fg%2F11txv950p8 - Alt-Moabit 19) on Saturday evening as part of Lange Nacht der Manufakturen.

My demo is going to be 18:00-19:00, but there's going to be things going on from 18:00-22:00 and I'd love if some friendly faces stopped by!

Just start feeling ok about myself again, but bundle up in all the layers season is definitely reminding me that I have a lot more injury weight to lose before I will feel even remotely ok in my own skin in the cold season.

Gonna be a long ~6 months.

I am the kind of hungry where I reaaaaally need to eat but also the idea of any food I can get makes me want to vomit 🥲 thx brain

I did a neon!

If my regular assistant was there I could just about make a decent goblet in an hour but he won’t be and thus the choreography of timing would be off 🥲

60 mins is like the worst duration in the hot shop because it’s too long for something quick and show offy but not quite long enough for anything… more complicated unless you pre-make a bunch of bits.

I’m doing a public glassblowing demo next Saturday as part of lange nacht der manufakturen which is fun but my demo slot is an awkward length (60 mins) and thus I have no idea what to demo 🥲

Making really dumb shit

I’ve had a crushing headache since I woke up this morning and I would very much like it to fuck off already 😭

The curse of hyper vigilance is that whenever I start actively trying to unlearn it, I end up experiencing drunk angry men getting violent with people and maybe the problem isn’t actually that my brain anticipates problems and is actually just men after all 🙃

3 hours between Bamberg and Erfurt is a very… scenic experience
