The day it makes sense to post this picture is the day you cannot post it

The Sea of Purple

Our wondrous jacaranda tree is in full bloom and floor coverage. It's an annual two-week event. I used to take this photo and fit the whole tree in but as you can see, the top is not visible anymore and I can't back-up as I'm at the front door. It survived an arborist evaluation recently as it poses a threat to ours and neighbours' houses if it ever falls. I'm very happy it's still here. It was a huge factor in us buying the place many years ago.

Ellen (or Ripley)
Picks up the guts from the guy whose chest just burst to bits
What is this shit

Waits in the silence
Aiming the flamethrower right at the Xenomorph’s face
No screams in space

Hello, I am running a single-user instance, and I'm trying to fill out my timeline a bit more. So I am server-surfing, and following people who post and boost things that catch my eye. Glad to meet you! Hope you don't find this weird!

Just saw a sign that said:
“I would rather have 1000 MAGA supporters arrive at my business than one non-binary lefty libtard.”

(via Reddit) It's not much, but I hope my art can bring a little more hope, softness, and colour into your day. I’m drawn to quiet, peaceful moments that evoke beauty, warmth, and optimism 🩷 (oc) https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeMeSmile/comments/1xeob4q/its_not_much_but_i_hope_my_art_can_bring_a_little/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=mastodon

Not cheap, but beautiful. As art should be.
Great use of digital tech to illustrate a concept.

My painting, "Capybara Among the Lilies"! My first in a series of Capybaras snoozing in water!
