Wow, Ted Lasso episode 9 of the new season was stellar. And I reluctantly admit that I got a bit choked up at the very end.
Hopefully that's vague enough to not be a spoiler.
#PhotoOfTheDay is a fun binary plaque that I discovered in one of the Santa Clara (aka Silicon Valley) county parks while geocaching. I won't spoil it for you by converting it to ASCII for you. :)
RIP Dolly Parton, who used her wealth to do a lot of actual good in this world.
There will be no Photo Of The Day from me today (or tomorrow) in honor of my good friend Derek Hiemforth passing on, and that has been consuming much of my limited brain's bandwitdth.
Derek was likely the smartest guy I knew, wow.... I was proud to be his friend for the last 35+ years, and also a coworker for the last 5. He wrote the "Champions Complete" edition if you are into #ttrpg. I can't eulegize him properly here so I won't attempt it, and please there is no need for condolences. Thanks.
It's another sign for #PhotoOfTheDay. I appreciated this signage on the back door of a small tech company office in the SF Bay Area before they vanished.

#PhotoOfTheDay Yesterday I posted my British Pattern 1895 saber, and today are the two others that I own, as requested by @feliks. Details are in the ALT text. I'll also tag @vitalis because swords.
#PhotoOfTheDay is of Queen Victoria's royal cipher "VR" on the guard of my 1895 Pattern British infantry officer's sword with Royal Marines markings.
This was the first of the three 1800s British sabers I have.
It's #Caturday and Yama is in her natural state.
#Caturday Yama last night seems to be pointing at something she wants me to look at... When it's hot out, she lies on her back more frequently and often makes amusing poses.
#PhotoOfTheDay is the look of a Monday morning before the coffee kicks in.
#PhotoOfTheDay is of a very large Ouroboros that I forged. I'd made several small ones and then I decided to attempt this much larger version (over a foot in diameter I think) which I then gave colors through spot heat treating of the steel. It hangs on a pillar in our backyard.
#PhotoOfTheDay is either a tasty little bowl of tomato soup, or it's a crucible inside my forge filled with liquid copper. :)
I Want to Believe.
It's #Caturday and Yama looks sad to be in the trash. I don't know why, because she climbed in there herself!
