Yay! I figured out Syncthing and got it running! It works! This is going to make working on different laptops SO much easier! And my iPhone can connect to it as well!

@Mrfunkedude it doesn't say you have to wear *pants* either (both USA or British), but going *that* far could even result in arrest (and/or a nasty cold/chill if you are in Northern Europe during autumn/winter)

Good morning!
The frost was on the punkin this morning, as James Whitcomb Riley once said. Or it should have been since it was freezing (32F, 0C) for my walk. I looked, but I didn't see any pumpkins with actual frost on them, even though there were lots of pumpkins and all the cars in the parking lot were covered in frost.
Now I'm home and warming up with hot coffee and oatmeal. #Today will be a writing day, with not much else on the agenda. I hope I can get some writing done.

Good morning! The clouds are hiding the sun. I'm hoping they move on, so we warm up to decent fall temperatures. I'm already calculating how many layers I'll need to wear for watching my granddaughter's H.S. band participate in a regional competition. Stadium bleachers are not conducive to staying warm. They aren't the most comfortable either. Those will be minor distractions. Given the chance to cheer on kids who have worked hard is going to be fun. Fun is important these days.
A new day. A new chance to succeed.
Another quiet morning. I'd like to think it's because I've tempered my expectations and curbed my run-away impulses.
I'd be wrong, but I still like to think it.
More accurate to say I've learned to savor these moments when they occur. To note the all too rare stillness inside.
Maybe by recognizing them, I might see them more often so I can bask in that all too brief period of peace before the day begins.
