Tropes in today's cinematic music are an insult to the intelligence. Can we move on? Everything isn't Lord of the Rings.

Trying to #degoogle here. Got calendar exported ok, but am struggling to find how to import the exported #JSON task list into #nextcloud provided by #disroot.

Seems you have to try to convert the JSON task list to an .ics file, but my searches run out of road here, having more to say about converting for events rather than #tasks.

tl;dr:
Please help export google tasks into nextcloud tasks.

No, fuck off and die, you secretive switch-hiding scumbags.

Shame to need a heat pump at all, if only all houses could be insulated to the highest degree, and built properly in the first place.

Petition: get Palantir out of UK NHS (and everything)

Sadiq Khan caved in to them, so this needs a big push now.

#today I am aching a lot after 2.5 hours of clearing an overgrown brick path. Nevertheless it was much needed exercise, and the beneficiary of the work gets to enjoy their home a bit more and feel less miserable.

It's also getting blark around here these evenings (bleak + dark = blark) and a bit chillier. Will be heating the person before the building, to minimise costs.

May you be the right temperature and feeling good enough!

Before all this automation, there were co-workers and staff.

It's getting cool enough these days that my cat seems extra friendly and needy, and I think a lot of that is enjoying whatever warmth he can solicit from anywhere or anyone!

Despite PayPal being a dick for ages, and not helped by our local mobile network being down.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the base audio systems to some degree. The ghostly leftover virtual audio thingies that OVOS deposited are still there. Grateful that Ardour still works, and my complex test track too. And I can play crap off the web. But damn... what an ugly situation. Things are still impacted.

It's left "OVOS Noise Suppressed source" (and sink, similarly) as input and output devices, from the point of view of the volume control app, which isn't going to help matters. Here we go... *sigh*

Goddammit -- just tried installing #OVOS on #Linux, which didn't play nicely with the #sound #system, so I uninstalled it. But it's left the sound system in tatters... I need to get #Ubuntu #Studio sound system back to default. If anyone's got any helpful pointers on this, I'd be grateful.

#Today I'm disproportionately pleased with the lash-up that my beloved and I have made, in order to hang clothes up to dry better.

Just discovered #VocaLinux, a locally processing text-to-speech app that doesn't [necessarily] go through the techbro cloud by default. To be continued...

Nice to see the sunny north Welsh air outside my window, thick with flying insects today. They're mainly quite small...

More of these please, somehow!
