@tillybridges Just got done watching Robo Waitress Assassins. It's fantastic!

It would be hilarious if the rest of the world reopened the Strait of Hormuz and then didn't allow any US ships or ships traveling to the US to go through.

@oldladyplays In case you haven't seen this already, there's a petition to ask Canada to loosen refugee rules for trans residents of the United States.

I misread this as "abandoned poetry factory." I bet there are a lot of abandoned poetry factories.

I'm starting to feel less imposter syndrome about calling myself #NonBinary. I guess the next step is to work on that imposter syndrome about calling myself #trans.

I recognized (or imagined?) an unintentional trans allegory in a movie and a song so far this week. I think @tillybridges is probably to blame.

When the trials happen, I'm actually for them treating all ICE employees as guilty until proven innocent.

It worries me that there are so many voices that say, "Don't talk to your conservative family, neighbors and friends. Cut them out of your lives!" when talking to them is the most powerful weapon we have.

Why is literature full of characters who were legitimately "on their sick bed" for months or years but modern society expects everyone to get better within a week?

@GottaLaff You might be interested in this essay. It's about not being the kind of person that blocks the light when there's good news. It's the kind of thing you often say, but more in depth.

I was just thinking a while ago about how there's someone I miss that I can't remember much about, just the way they made me feel when they were around.

When I decided in 6th Grade that I wanted to live in historically significant times, THIS IS NOT WHAT I MEANT!

I've decided that whoever owns the quantum computer we live in is running an unethical experiment.

Visited the local #NoKings franchise with a few family members. Glad I brought noise cancelling headphones because it was super loud to my #ActuallyAutistic ears. Even though I live in a super red state it was packed and there were no counter protesters. Almost every passing car honked in support.

I'm tired of humans.

Immigration for political reasons is a human right.
Immigration for social reasons is a human right.
Immigration for safety reasons is a human right.
Immigration for economic reasons is a human right.

I need an app that lets me snooze notifications until the exact moment I have enough executive function to take care of them properly.

This family lives in a different state, but they will be staying in our home for a couple of days in a few weeks. I realized this means there's a decent chance I'll have the opportunity to speak to the child alone, or at least to slip her a note.

I'd like to tell her that I'm non-binary and that I support her. My question for the #trans people who see this is what would you have wanted/needed to hear from me if you were in this situation?

A few important details:

A post by @Athena helped me to realize I could be that 1 accepting adult to a child I know.

Asking for advice. My partner is good friends with a single mother with a daughter who is questioning if she might be #trans. Honestly, I suspect that there isn't much questioning left to do and the mother just isn't happy with the answer, but all of this is third-hand info. The mother and I don't have a lot of interaction, but she assumes I share her low opinion of the situation

It turns out that my partner had never heard of autistic burnout before, so didn't understand what was happening when one of the characters has one. I got to explain it and tell what it was like when it happened to me.
