I liked when fedi had things to talk about besides AI

RFC should stand for Request for Cuddles

love when it's 100 degrees every day for a week in October

which reminds me, god I hope we get those new fda approved sunscreens that don't feel like texture hell soon

it's so funny to me that people who are afraid of 5G exist who don't slather themselves in sunscreen and completely cover all skin when going out at noon. like girl you're way more likely to get skin cancer than for 5G to do fucking anything

who longs for connection more:

1) guy stuck on a desert island
2) typescript dev on fedi

if you wanna see the circus https://www.reddit.com/r/musichoarder/comments/1wsabv3/claude_has_completely_revolutionised_my_music/

some idiot on reddit is bragging about using Claude to organize his music and is getting very defensive at anyone suggesting alternative methods. it's really funny how mad AI boosters get when you're not tripping over yourself to suck their dicks

saying "polyproto fixes this" when stuff in my fridge falls over when I close the door

and on some level I get it. it's hard to organize and easy to post. it's hard to feel like there's hope when it feels like everything is falling apart. but you gotta spend your time and energy on shit that matters.

how do we defeat fascism

1) organize with our communities and UNIONIZE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD UNIONIZE

or

2) post rants in the KDE bug tracker and make the anti-LLM position look bad by being unhinged

monty python's digital circus

I've made this post before but: you can fascinate a robotthing with an RFC

is 5 months between psychiatrist appointments normal and okay or am I right and that's ridiculous?

I love the term "petty theft" like I know what it means but it gives me the image of someone like, stealing something out of spite

reddit nu atheism haunts the online left

you can highlight issues in major religions without being shitty to individual members of that religion. thinking that all members of that religion are brainwashed idiots who don't see the world clearly like you do is disrespectful arrogance. you don't know why they believe what they believe.

advertising is a demonic industry it should not exist word of mouth or nothing

I hate how advertising has made the web useless on your phone

love how every "new" development in LLM coding tech is just giving the model more text. mcp? more text. skills? more text. "search the web?" the text of the top 4 google results. and then a few months later the boosters are like "oh MCP sucks use skills instead" and then skills will suck and you'll have to use something else. deeply unserious industry
