stealing and reposting good memes will continue until alt texting improves 🤷‍♂️

In meinem Kopf laufen die Fantastischen Vier …

LLM, CVE, HTTP
RCE in PHP, ojemine

I propose declaring October 21 to henceforth be International Static Website Day.

Leftists: "We as a society should consider all perspectives, not just those of the majority. Diversity is important, because everyone's reality and living conditions are different!"

Also leftists: "I am positive that I know the single morally correct position when it comes to this complex issue that people have been debating for decades."

me: Okay, what's it gonna take to build a little Python program to basically proxy incoming FTP connections to SFTP or WebDAV?

me: … or …

me: … or I could look at whether the nerds over at rclone have already built something like that.

rclone: `rclone serve ftp`

me: Thank you, very much, for making this open source.

Playing around with the Home Assistant Voice (Preview Edition), it's fascinating how well it works out of the box.

But what's even more fascinating: This is "just" an ESPHome device. With a 70k YAML config, but still! You can see it here:
https://github.com/esphome/home-assistant-voice-pe/blob/dev/home-assistant-voice.yaml

It has several features that I didn't even know were in ESPHome:

Animations for LED strips
https://esphome.io/components/light/#strip-animations

Wake word recognition
https://esphome.io/components/micro_wake_word/

Programmatic OTA

Sigh. Let me pin this, because it keeps coming up:

If you send me an unsolicited "AI"-generated reply, you'll almost certainly be blocked.

Believe it or not: You're not the only one who's able to use these tools. If I _wanted_ to use the fascist plagiarism machine, I could.

Please don't do it "for" me. In contrast to what you might tell yourself, this is _not_ "helpful", not "a favor". It's just noise.

I've counted the number of helpful "AI" responses I've had on the Fedi. It's exactly zero.

The #Firefox team is asking web developers which features they should be focusing on.

Please don't reply to this post ranting about Firefox stuff, I can't do anything about that and I don't want my replies to be full of moping.

(sound on)

Mein Kopf so: »hihihi, Penis«

• Leichtgewichtig. VS Code ist wahrscheinlich schon zu dick.
• Kostenlos. Und am besten freie Software, also Open Source.
• Unterstützt EditorConfig.
• Git-Integration wär cool, also zumindest mal geänderte Zeilen markieren.

Paarmal geschmunzelt. Nicht nur ich, auch Angela.
