I'm doing a social experiment to try talking to more folks (esp those I met online, like via Mastodon/Fediverse) and ideally about nerdy topics of mutual interest.

Signal or Google Meet. audio-only. call durations say 15 to 45 minutes? one-on-one, initially. tho we might expand later to small group calls, if enough desire it

topics of interest and/or my expertise:

* Golang
* Linux
* compute system performance, scaling, efficiency, optimization, instrumentation, tooling, HPC
* concurrency, parallelization, multi-threading
* EV charging
* DCC TTRPG (by GG)
* Advanced Squad Leader (ASL)
* Empire of the Sun (wargame by GMT)
* WW2 and Nazi German history

ping me if interested, either here or via email

tired: GNU/Linux

wired: systemd's kernel

also: Docker's OS

Mork Borg is a bad name for a #TTRPG

Mork: makes me think of the 80s TV series Mork & Mindy

Borg: makes me think of The Borg from Star Trek

then theres the two dots over the O in Mork -- harder to type, pronounce, remember

game itself might be great. but shame about name. eg. Crap & Vomit might be a great TTRPG but the name will mislead or confuse folks

The provider of this Mastodon/Fediverse account has harassed me for daring to commit the sin of even flirting abstractly along the edges of an idea or notion they consider WrongThink.

Though I thought no such thing, nor did I say it.

So if this account ever goes silent/blocked that might be why: either they will have banned me or I will have moved on to a censorfree host. Might be wise to make the jump pre-emptively.

I'll take this notice down later.
