I'm going to make a prediction. LLMs will never be intelligent. They can't because they obviously lack some of the fundamental requirements. Don't ask me what these are(I could speculate), but the diagnosis is clear.

All service tasks require intelligence. There's a lot of boilerplate, but underneath is intelligence, and the intelligence lies in the specific arrangement of the boilerplate.

From this it follows there will never be large or even significant productivity gains from LLM use.

Because productivity is the usefulness of the service provided, not the amount of it...

From this it follows further that this is a doomed technology. No matter how much make work people like. Because no business, ultimately, will pay for make work.

We're replaying the 20th in the wrong order. This time it's the Nazis starting the great depression by creating a trade war. instead of the great depression creating the Nazis because of the effects of the trade war

I hope the Nazis still lose at the end.

A slave can provide services no one, in a free society can buy, for any price. But only truly perverted minds want those.

Only the depraved are "richer" in slaver societies, compared to being at the top of a free society.

Now, wanting humanoid robots is fundamentally about wanting slaves... Because it's just inefficient at everything else.

So, to conclude.

I don't like AI pushers. Make no mistake, if they could use slaves, they would.

Because this is where we are...

Slavery is an abomination, but have you thought about why?

A slave, in all slaver societies is very valuable. It's also worth much less than the "economic value of human life" we can compute.

Slaver societies, indeed, waste the potential of so many humans that they are always much poorer than abolitionist societies.

Of course, slave owners are not poor. But they're also not as rich as their counterparts in free societies.

So, onto the abomination...
