Single stair apartment buildings are one of the nerdiest of topics, but basically, one reason big apartment buildings suck so much is because they feel like hotels with their long "double-loaded" corridors. So things like windows can only be on one side of most apts. Those corridors are, via a chain of causality, a consequence of requiring two staircases. Originally two staircases were required due to potential fires but today we have much better means of managing fires, such as sprinklers

With a 1-seat majority Walz made MN a sanctuary state for trans kids AND worked to legalize single stair apartment buildings. I'm fully regime pilled
