@BasicAppleGuy @siracusa I think this needs a bit of discussion about "master branding", vexillology, and so on
Like: What is the purpose? Bad flags are bad because they can't be seen from a distance, but most of all, can't be sketched by a child.
Master branding, (maybe just a trend?), it demonstrates that flexibility & variety comes WITH simplicity — the more complex your logo, the less you can do with it.
If you make colors optional, you now have the choice to add them back — different ones, for different contexts.
There's an entire scale of complexity — from alphabetic letters, to emoji, to skeumorphism
They all have their place?
