Where is black magic when I need it. 🙄

Like, the whole tone of this discussion is so fucked up. You have actual Dem Party endorsed candidates out here spitting nazi propaganda. This isn't ignorance. When you say shit like "trans ideology" and "biological males" you are doing nazi fucking propaganda. You are literally doing a nazism.

This isn't cringe. This isn't "oh she's just so fucking OLD tho." You are fucking Hitler. You're doing the Hitler thing.

I hope you fucking die, let alone don't win your elections.

Time to take my bad back, bad ankle, bad knees, and bad arm to the store.

The "good cop" and the bad cop are still on the same side, you know.

They both want to see you go down.

I really don't see the point in electing a bunch of anti-trans, pro-billionaire Democrats to replace anti-trans, pro-billionaire Republicans, especially when they've already vowed to leave Trump alone.

Humans have such a hard time imagining probable future disasters as real that we end up standing in waist deep water or on a street corner after cops abducted our loved ones wondering how this happened. Surely, smart people in government saw this coming? And yeah, usually, and they planned for it to happen.

Just a reminder that when Dems turn against trans people for power, it's also a reminder that they'll do other things for power that you might not like too, such as supporting billionaires.

Fascism is going to look like a series of police actions and social restrictions getting closer and closer until you're the one filming the cop about to shoot you on your own cell phone.

While reading, I keep tripping over factoids about how this or that famous person died in their 40s from Bright's Disease, what we used to call kidney disease before modern medicine. 🫤

This is a thing of beauty, gibbering mad beauty, but still beauty.

Use a supply chain, Sideshow Bob.

So we're going to keep the entire US military supply, several times over, in space perpetually so we can drop it from the sky a few tons at a time because somebody is a fan of "Starcraft." Sure.

Holy crap, this is stupid.

Yakthoob was a man
He was a wizard man
Or maybe he was just a wizard
But he was still YAKTHOOB

Educate the Mad Arab
Warning him about Tulu
Showing him all the cultists
In their thatched roof cottages
Thatched roof cottages!

And the demons come in the niiiiiiiiight

Fwiw 300,000 tons of Diesel is apparently about 14 hours of Diesel consumption in the US.

So yeah maybe it gets a like a cent cheaper per gallon

3 hours of talking about "The Crow" later...

Periodic reminder that the absurd price of dram and ssds for computer components basically boil down to an oligopoly of 3 corporations who have a long history of collusion and price fixing whenever they can find a plausible excuse to get away constraining supply and making obscene amounts of profit.

Really fun reading about kidney disease and the heart, muscle, and bone damage it causes over time. I already feel pretty dire some days. 🫤

damn

Wolf Witch Warrior was a good read.

Is 8 coming ever @gwynnion ? and if so when?

7 ended at a point I could see calling the end of the series but I wondered

The ostrich has the lowest brain-to-bodymass ratio of any living bird. An ostrich eye is actually larger than an ostrich brain, and less than a third of their (very small) cranial real estate houses brain.

And yet, no ostrich has ever written an opinion piece about how Claude is conscious and has a soul.
