Mostly I'm just looking forward to the movie theater hot dog

Going to a screening of Pan's Labyrinth tonight

Incredible amounts of psychic damage this year and it's not even over yet

Nice guy, but I sort of paled at the suggestion, especially since even the most superficial constraints here demand low latency.

I don't see how adding blockchain into the flow could speed things up.

So I was having a conversation with a guy who is what I'll call an AI specialist. He is deep into it. Anyway, I was describing a technical problem I saw during a production incident and explained how the mitigations looked, and he sort of paused to stare into the middle distance before saying, "hm, this service sounds like it's more or less acting as a ledger. Have we considered Blockchain?"

I'll tell you later

Has anyone considered using Blockchain to fix the AI problem

I'm giving myself more credit than I deserve. I just told someone "this is the last time" rather than "no" 🤡

Lately I have been teaching myself to say "no" when I feel like I'm on the brink. I'm 45. Better late than never.

She's out.

I'm experiencing some tooth pain and I wonder if wisdom teeth can eventually decide to cause problems when you're in your 40s. I had one removed in my 20s, and this other one has just been vibing in my mouth since then.

The thing that pisses me off about the exchange is just that I put a lot of effort into this bullshit, but they went ahead and invited me to their church anyway.

I don't know what came over me, but when they asked me if I had a church to attend, I lied. I said yes. They asked me about it and I concocted a trans futurist cyber church out of thin air. I flashed my insulin pump at them explaining we'd all be computer once we ascend. Our congregation meets online on a social media platform called "mastodon." I regret not inviting them to a service. I also regret citing mastodon rather than IRC.

I was approached by two young mormon boys in the park while held in place by my pooping dog. Very opportunistic missionary work.

Is CyberFunk a thing? If not, why?

My hooch jar

I got this mason jar which has ml/oz markings on the sides and my new favorite thing is to pre-mix cocktails in these. 2 parts vodka, one part kahlua makes me a little sip of Black Russian whenever I feel like it.

Were the marbles mad, or was the world mad for marbles?

Penny went ape at the window but when I rushed over there I didn't see anything. Ghosts?

A few weeks ago, work was not great but it was not terrible either. In less than a month I suddenly feel like I fell off a cliff and am hurtling towards burnout. Is that how it happens? All at once in one swift motion?
