I'm currently doing a higher vocational education (HVE) as a Network Engineer. We're supposed to do a work-based learning (WBL) for 6 months soon, starting in November.
I have yet to find a workplace that seems to be interested in me.
I don't have a lot of experience with networking, but I have 20 years of experience with Linux based operating systems.
If anyone knows about some place that could be interested in someone like me (preferably in the long run, and not just as free labour for 6 months), please let me know.
I'm located in Sweden. It should preferable be somewhere around Gävle, since I don't expect to find something that's completely remote.
I'm considering a featurephone. Any recommendations? My only requirements would be:
Not required, but nice to have:

I don't understand why there's not a single Wireguard client on F-Droid. I really don't want to start adding a bunch of random third party repositories.
Not even the official client is there? Why?

A shocking backroom deal is underway to revive Chat Control 1.0 this Friday — and on Monday 29 June, the final trilogue for permanent mass scanning takes place. We face a double-attack on private communication. Take two minutes now: e-mail your MEPs and Permanent Representation to stop this!
One of the owner of Mullvad VPN donated 5 million SEK to the Swedish political party Örebropartiet in 2025.
I usually always stay away from politics, but this involves Mullvad VPN, a service that I personally use and have promoted over the years. It doesn't look good for Mullvad VPN right now, considering that Örebropartiet seems to be fairly unfriendly, to put it lightly.
And even if they're not be a bad party, it still doesn't feel good that an owner of a pro privacy company has any involvement with any side or colour. I believe that they should stay neutral in politics.
If anyone knows anything about this, feel free to share it with me, either here or in private.
