Currently working on adding passes to Google / Apple wallet. Thought I'd start with Google because they're usually easier to work with than Apple and it turned out to be a nightmare of moving parts.

I got it working, and now I'm doing the Apple bit. I was right.

Currently drinking a beer that’s “imported from holland”*. I wonder if this was exported and then imported again 😵‍💫

*) being a little pedantic here but I do, indeed, not live in Holland but in a part The Netherlands that is not called “holland” (which is only the north-west), but for some reason “holland” and “the netherlands” are used interchangeably by the vast majority of people

At least don’t put that in with the “search results” ugh.

Some (most? all?) services are so afraid of showing no content their search is pretty much useless. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Here’s some other content we have that may or may not be remotely related to your query.

ok what the fuck is going on with youtube’s algorithm? in my “up next” (which I could do without, but that’s besides the point) are videos I *just watched*. I don’t think this was called “up next” before, so I think it’s new? and very, very useless.

Protip: haal het lepeltje uit de koffiepot voor je hem bijvult

However the broader tech landscape is becoming so hostile to basic human values, I don’t know if I can or want to keep this up. But what else can I do?
