Shoutout to the Lenovo Yoga 700-11SK, a cheapass flimsy 2015 Lenovo laptop/tablet convertable I used for ten years as a primary netbook for all my portable light computing (until it stopped accepting current) and its truly hilarious proprietary charging method.
Yes, that is in fact USB-A with a notch added to it.
okay, this may also because one of the wheels needed to build Chatterino was downloading the entire source code to Clang/LLVM. What.
One thing I've run into on NetBSD that's both surprising and unsurprising: when using pip to install Python packages, there's no prebuilt wheels as far as I can tell so there's a lot of time spent building the native code extensions.
This plus decade old laptop just requires some patience. :ac_disagreement:
So one of the mogtome goals this week in Final Fantasy XIV was "play a game of majong".
Queue me matching into a game and finding out absolutely nobody else there had played or knew how to play majong at all and we just were all confusedly picking the recommended pieces with no idea what was going on. :ac_laughter:
