My thoughts on this are mostly in regard to this string of bad 1:1 remakes that lose so much in the transition. These things shouldn’t be an echo they should be a response. So if like the OoT remake is to be forced upon us it should be a radical reinterpretation of the original work instead of zelda64_UE3_demo.mp4. We’ll see!

Even complaining about controls of old games is iffy, but often can be justified. There’s a lot of experimentation so it’s tough to tell intent with controls plus they’re more how you experience the medium than the medium itself. Like watching a movie in a theater vs on your TV.
