In Bloom has a really interesting structure.

The two verses are so short the whole song is basically all chorus.

And it is an incredible piece of music. The whole album is. There are only contenders for the second best grunge album ever if we are being honest.

Apparently it is Italian metal music release day 🇮🇹

So fresh from #FletchsFridayReleases (by @HailsandAles) here is the one with the best album cover.

And man, they sound old-school spooky!

Hey, where's my Ron Perlman biography?

You know what sucks? When you can't listen to metal- or guitar heavy music in general because it makes your tinnitus worse. That happens a couple of times a year and apparantly now is such a time.

I got my ears checked earlier this year and everything looks fine, but I'll have an MRI in a couple of weeks to rule out something called "vestibular schwannoma" (which is very very unlikely).

All I wanna do is play the new Mastodon album over and over, I wanna listen to some nice Thrash Metal, check out some of the new releases, but nope.

Can you suggest me some music that is "easy" on the ears?

I'm curious, are you still getting COVID booster shots?

Boost for science 🙏

I usually say that albums shouldn't be longer than ~45 minutes. But Mastodon are an exception. I didn't want this album to end.

I just thought I listened to one of Brent's solos, but then I remembered. 🕯️

Mastodon never made a bad album.

And if the rest of Marrow Deep continues like the opener "Barbarians Blood", it will be another great album.

Happy Mastodon day to all who celebrate 🎉 🤘
