oldie but goldie: monday

i've been taught for the last 7 out of 10 years that pos always stands for that, it's kinda hard to change that 😭

am i the only one who keeps reading /pos as "piece of shit"

I suppose I should make an intro post.

Howdy you all, my nickname is Tissa, at the moment of this posting I am 33 years old.

I am writing a novel and 80% of my personality revolves around that. Aside from that I also do some art from time to time and my tools of the trade are paper, mechanical pencils(2.0 and 0.7) and krita(sometimes).

I also attempt code sometimes and my two projects in this are a draft website for my novel and a secret videogame project that might one day(or not) see the light of day.

You can learn more about Níma's Prophecy(the said novel) here:
https://nimasprophecy.carrd.co/

And you can see the draft website here(it is still incomplete):
https://nimasprophecy.neocities.org/

I rarely post original content so expect to see me mostly just rewooting stuff I find neat from other people, be it art, photography, writing and etc(with occasional the occasional shitpost)

the type of things youtube recommends after you watch a news channel

in 2 months my 2 year anniversary of daily driving linux will arrive

i still remember first using mint and getting used to it all :')

since then I moved onto many distros, kubuntu, fedora (workstation/kde plasma edition), pop!_os, antix… a lot of DEs too, like kde plasma, cosmic, gnome, xfce…

will go into more detail with those in a blogpost for when the time arrives, but currently I decided to use a "rolling release" distro once and for all, so I decided to go with opensuse tumbleweed with the latest KDE Plasma, and honestly? I love it so freaking much, I didn't think a stable rolling release distro like this one could exist :') far more stable than every time I tried KDE Plasma on Fedora, but also more updated than on Kubuntu, the best of both worlds with a DE like this one

considering I'm the first person in all my friend groups that decided to give opensuse a try, I felt the adrenaline of distrohopping into unknown territory there, something I hadn't really experienced for any other distro in a long while, I missed that feeling

its neat

thank you all for the kind messages while I was gone, it truly means a lot to receive lots of support while you're feeling down like I was doing yesterday ;w; I'll be forever grateful of your support, thank you so much!!

so uhhh
turns out that taking a shower is a wonderful thing for the human brain and can make the sorrows fade away a bit, who would have thought

hey
just a quick update, but I'm not doing well regarding my mental health, I thought it'd get better by today but it only got worse. therefore, I'm gonna take a break from all social medias and most other places I'm in 'till it gets better.

I'll be back when I feel in better conditions.

hey, they found another CVE vulnerability where using the PC or phone for long periods of time can reduce your real life eyesight, they're working on a patch at the kernel but as a workaround ensure to have blue light filters on and to take breaks from these devices every so often

i've seen some people struggle with how to refer to me as, so here's my coming out video again

i like how much I've improved at drawing konqi ever since the first time I gave it a shot

konqi kde is so cool

i wish italy was real

oldie but goldie: he was so greedy, he wanted more than one aple just for himself. His downfall was already set in place the moment he wanted another aple. His fall shall be studied for generations to come.

i wrote a new blogpost: "euro truck simulator 2 and the gaming industry"
you can read it here:

https://anubiarts.bearblog.dev/ets2-gaming-industry-32

a new update has been released for windows 11, it contains the following changes:

• made the file explorer faster
• terraria with 20% ui zoom should no longer crash the windows session
• added pantone 448 C as a new accent color (you'll need to pay the newly available pantone license at the microsoft store to use it though)
• fixed a bug where there was a 400ms delay when right clicking (now it should be at the normal speed of 800ms)
• added ai scanning to the file explorer for faster results, making it slower
• fixed a bug where using copilot did not give you bugs in your bed
• fixed a bug where staring at the desktop for 10 seconds gave a BSOD
• fixed a bug where you could install google chrome
• added herobrine
• added verity
• added 20 more places to find AI tools in the system. i'm not telling you where though

It has the following known issues:

• Putting a bucket on top of the Windows' logo at the taskbar allows you to remove ads without its knowledge
• Clicking the Windows button too much gives it anxiety, leading to 20 instances of the Start Menu being open at once
• Windows Defender might think the C drive contains malware, and delete the entire partition (A workaround to fix this is to disable the ai scanning at the file explorer)

It's estimated that this update is 60gb in size and will be installed in 3 seconds at your PC
