The world needs more whimsy, especially in dark times. #random

Why can't we make our own honorifics anymore? Like introducing ourselves with a string of titles?
I am OKANOGEN, Seeker of New Visions, Metaphysical Doctor of Important Concepts and Thoughts, Professional Analyst and Explainer of Natural Earth Processes, Converter of Matter to Energy, Captain of Vessels Across the Stormy Seas, Enemy of Evildoers And Perfidy!
That kind of thing.

Can anyone tell me about either object in this picture? The rug or the costume?

Out of all of the horrible things #MAGAts have done maybe the worst is stripping the joy out of our lives. They are miserable, joyless people who want everyone as miserable and joyless as they are. Even when they are doing things which should be fun, they take no joy from it. It's just another excuse to fly a Trump flag or wear an AR15 shirt so you know you should be as miserable as they are in their cruel brutish hate-filled lives.

Remember when we had bandwidth for.... I don't know. Frivolity?

Life was a lot better when everybody was obsessed with Angry Birds and Pokémon Go instead of.... this.... shitshow....

I had a #dream, a nightmare actually, that I had to pass a test on #COBOL to keep my job.
Shiver!

The permanent solution to energy pricing security is renewables.

That is why the greed-heads are desperate. DESPERATE!!!!! To stop it. There will be no commodity market or futures market speculating on these prices. Do you get it? Nobody is going to make $500million betting on the futures market of wind based on insider information from whoever. Same with solar, geothermal, and tidal/hydro.

"You can jail a revolutionary but you can't jail the revolution. You can run a freedom fighter around the country but you can't run freedom fighting around the country. You can murder a liberator, but you can't murder liberation."

I'm just starting to watch "A House of Dynamite" and realizing I need to treat this as fiction if the President of the United is portrayed as mature, measured, sane, moral, and competent rather than a feral, racist, cruel, convicted felon grifter, who has literally raped people, including likely children.
We need to gaslight ourselves now that the world is normal.

"It will work flawlessly!", they said.

American agriculture's (and construction, and hospitality industry) cynical reliance on undocumented workers they can, and do, treat as slave labor, is why we are where we are.
Anybody crying about losing their workers is part of this system.
Our broken immigration system is broken for a reason, namely to fuel the neo-slavery that greedy and lazy employers use to control labor.
It isn't just America either.

"Oh no!" Some say, "When their Social Security checks stop.and their 401k tanks, people will be enraged!"
And yeah, they will, but this takeover could be over in a matter of days or weeks. By then, no amount of citizen, or even congressional backlash will change it. Like realizing immediately you were phished, but they are instantaneous. Too late....

What #Trump is doing with the #Tariffs is another grift, yeah, maybe the largest one in world history. It's the opposite of a #PumpAndDump, they are wrecking the entire market and economy, top to bottom, so they can pick up every corporation, business, asset, property, farm, home in America at rockbottom prices, then lift the tarriffs and reap the profits. It's more like a giant #Pottersville.
At that point they have no need for laws, just private armies to enforce their decrees.

This is how motherfucking dumb this shit is:
I'm on a state advisory committee advising on aquatic invasive species. One of the biggest problems we have is communicating practices and creating societal change to stop the spread. There a thousands and thousands of anglers, boaters, and water users who are not English speaking or have accessibility issues, so we have been using #DEIA to track how those people can be reached. The AIS doesn't care if they speak Hmong, or Spanish or a Somali dialect.

Unbalaced, incompetent, whale head collector is in charge of national health.
