Ebike and Rack and Trunk/ Pannier quest.

So, we LOVE our #Velotric Fold 1+s

We do find that the built in rack is too low though... We have some pretty awesome panniers that we really don't want to have to part with. When attached to our bikes now, heel strike is too much of an issue though.....

Anybody out here in the #BikeTooter space have any luck adding a taller rack, or hacking together a solution to raise the height of the rack on a step through folding bike?

Oh yeah, the trunk bags pictured have folding out panniers. They absolutely suuuuuuck! Zoom in on the label and avoid that brand! 🤙

So I guess I own an ebike now....

I present to you, in blue, Eldingarhestur

And in the purple, my wife's new, Poni Lio Pone

We got em from The Bike Factory Waipahu today and then rode their assess off!

Guys.

It's on us.

If you have a buddy, a mate, a friend, who doesn't seem like he understands consent, take him to your best nearby big ol gaaaay nightclub, after midnight.....

Oh boy howdy he'll get really specific and enthusiastic about consent then.

These kind of straight men, who are afraid of gay men, are only afraid of gay men because these straight men assume gay men want to treat them, like these straight men want to treat women.

To wit, if you see a man, any man, about to sexually assault anyone, it is your responsibility to lay a high holy shit kicking on him, until he cannot get up under his own power and then deliver him to the police.

And never give him the time of day again.

Only men can stop misogyny.

This beach is a 30ish minute bike ride from where we live.

Finally!

After MONTHS of going back and forth with the #Ontario government, I have all the paperwork I need for this move!

August 28th, 2026 I'll move to be with my wife and our two cats, to #Oahu #HNL after decades of living in #WindsorON #YQG

Looking forward to connecting with other #BikeTooter s in #Hawaii especially for casual rides, pub crawls, and advocacy!

I can almost guarantee I'll be the only #Canadian #FolkSinger there!

#Morphe has added a "Block AI Channels" setting to their #YouTube rebuild.

So far it seems to work pretty well and it's poised to only get better.

#Canadian "Social Media"

I joined #Gander a few weeks ago to see what it was all about. It might have been the ugliest, most broken app I've been on in a long time.

It took about a day and a half to get sick of all the psudo science/medical grift I saw.... Chiroquacktic, Quackupuncture, Reiki, the list of garbage went on and on and on

Not to mention the plethora of posts from people who apparently never had even a passing thought they didn't post to their accounts.....

2 weeks in I took it off my home screen.

Today, a couple of weeks later, I deleted the app.

The problem isn't the app. The problem is so-called Social Media. In reality, it isn't either one.

Can you catch a medicine ball?
Can you catch yourself when you fall?
You should be careful, do you catch my drift?
'Cause what I really want to know is can you BIKE THIS BRIDGE!

I HAAAAAAAATE FB MARKETPLACE.

FFS, I'm just trying to move out of the country here.... Why needs these knuckle walkers vex me so.

"What's your best price?"

What's my best price?!?!

Suck it. That's my best price!

That is not how haggling works.

If I listed it for 200 bucks, that's my best price. If you'd like me to consider a different price, suggest one. I'll probably offer half way between that, and then we'll agree on something halfway between that!

If you suggest less than half my listed price, you get block, easy as that.
