Sadly I've been really unsuccessful in finding ethically-produced clothes that suit both my body & my aesthetic sensibilities. So I buy a lot of my clothes from AliExpress, because if they are going to come from an unknown supply chain then I'd rather at least cut out the middlemen who profit from sinophobia.

And I think the knowledge that I can and do repair my clothes helps ease my mind there. I use fast-fashion products like they were slow-fashion.

I spent a *long* time finding all the necessary fixtures and fabrics and such and I'm happy to share. I could also take some close-up pictures of the various parts of the outfit.

Most of it was hand-sewn, and the actual "crafting" took only a few days.
