Been working on implementing a Bézier curve tool that works on a spherical surface for almost two weeks now, was a surprising amount of work but I got the core functionality working just now.
This is for the map editor for the game I'm working on, the intent is to have it generate valleys, ridges, rivers etc that follow along the curve, which is the next step 😁

If you live in a house made of massive materials like masonry or solid logs and it has two storeys or more, you might be able to leverage the day/night temperature difference by opening the highest windows and closing the others.
The air will rise and pour out of the windows over night and be replaced by cooler air, but it will remain trapped during the day. This will keep the thermal mass at a lower temp than the day/night average (about 5°C in my personal experience).

Box fans are great to ventilate your living space (if you don't have AC). Putting one by a window will continuously refresh the air at a very fast rate.
Doesn't necessarily help with the heat but does wonders against the clamminess of stale hot humid air.

This is in contrast to old saws which were not hardened and though this means they dull faster, they can be re-sharpened with files until there's no saw left.
But you could take a hardened saw that's gone dull, disassemble it, plop the sawplate in the oven and temper it down to a file-sharpenable hardness, then sharpen it like an old saw.
PSA: WD-40 is *not* a lubricant, it's a penetrant.
A penetrant is for helping stuck parts get unstuck. Something like an old bolt that is rusted over and won't turn.
A lubricant is for reducing friction and wear between two sliding surfaces. Something like the plates and pins of a bike chain, or the hinges of a door.
A penetrant is generally a lubricant thinned down with a solvent so it can flow into tight spots. If it smells like a solvent, it's probably not meant for long-term lubrication.
