I mean let's sum up right? The neoliberal "centrist" coalition in the Democratic Party has lost not one, but two elections to a reality TV show, billionaire, child rapist nazi whose catch-phrase is "you're fired." That happened. They have no future, they have no ideas, and they have no answers. What they do have however is a BURNING desire to stop "socialism" (moderate soc dem policies) from... OTHER Democrats.

I work in information security, something I have done for about 20 years. By day I run corporate security, enterprise IT and various other bits and pieces for an EV charging startup. I am big into EV's and currently drive one that is not a Tesla. I want an electric motorbike, so if anyone has a spare one please send it.

I am a big aviation nerd. I always wanted to be a commercial pilot. I gained my private pilots license in the UK at 17, all self funded by my employment at the local Safeway/Morrisons store. I did the sim test and commercial assessments, but for some reason, at 18, I was unable to find the £100k needed to complete the commercial training, so I did computers. Finally, I am a massive fan of motorsport. I believe I have watched every F1 race for the last 30 years, maybe 25. I also follow F2, FE, Indycar and MotoGP closely. I average around 18 hours of Le Mans 24 hour racing watching per year.

The insane weather (impossible without global warming) during America's 250 celebrations while the country is being run by climate deniers is a sad irony.
This 4th of July, I am angry and dismayed. I'm disgusted by our federal government generally and particularly by its absurd approach to commemorating 250 years of American history. I'm horrified by the Republican Fascist control of the federal government and numerous state governments.
But this just means that I am indeed observing the Fourth. It is precisely because I'm keenly aware and appreciative of the Declaration of Independence that I can't help the anger, dismay, disgust, and horror. 1/

The wealthy live like royalty while the remainder of Americans can't afford to feed their families, send their children to college, and keep themselves and their families healthy. When the top 10% of Americans possess more wealth than the combined wealth of the other 90% something is seriously wrong.
