I have made so very many stupid choices.

After the book club I found myself trying to explain to my 80 yo mom that I identify as queer not lesbian. She asked me why I wear men's clothes. I don't like dresses, skirts, blouses. Never have. Men's pants and shirts tend to be less expensive, better construction, larger pockets. I have no need of boob room. If I went with classic lesbian fashion she'd see a similar look. Just more cargo shorts and flannel shirts. 🤷

Why are clothing choices so controversial?

My father did not make it out of ICU. He had the very best of care. The very best life. And now he is free from suffering.

I've been absent because my father had a stroke. After seven days in ICU he's been able to move to a non-ICU floor. We have a long road ahead.

Finn seems to be having some trouble peeing. In the box, out the box. Try box number two. Same. I did witness him pee maybe a walnut sized bit. And he's not eating a whole lot. I'm worried about my boy. His follow up is Tuesday morning.

I have a spot on my back that is so easy to get to when digging the scab off that is so impossible to get a band aid on in hopes that I won't dig the scab off and it might eventually heal.
