‘Calling insurance to ask where to go’ should not be part of anyone’s healthcare workflow.
I have however gotten into the habit during the past 25 years, of asking clinic receptionists which insurance works best on their side , and if they take my insurance.
And I have seen clinics more willing to take on that burden themselves, on the front end.
