I think spending time here and not on meta etc is both evidence of taste AND a protector of taste.
Amidst it all I still have very strong tastes in music, dress, food, books...
I want to be insulated from the worst aspects of AI while still being sociable online and Fedi works. It feels interesting, organic & far from stagnant here - which is vital as taste defines how you spend your life's time (within material confines).

We had an ocean of protesters and blocked them at every turn. The fash were drunk, angry, sunburnt and some will have been afraid.
I love everyone who turned out to march for hope and against hate. Was a powerful day.
