Who are the key ringleaders behind Alberta separatism?

A coalition of Christian Nationalists and disgruntled rural Albertans will face a major milestone following the weekend

Here’s one for #AskFedi :
I have a Photoshop file (.psd) with a pile of assets in it, and I would like to extract those assets, ideally into whatever original file format they came in … without having Photoshop.

I *can* open it in Pixelmator Pro (on a Mac), but would have to go through the dozens of assets, exporting them one at a time.

Ideas?

So the UCP is removing protections for an animal with a population of less than 100 individuals.

Oh fun! Stumbled across a 'behind the scenes' segment on YTube about an imminent "Ghosts" movie that follows up on the British TV series!

I enjoyed that series a lot, so seeing a feature movie that revisits the story sounds like great fun!

Only thing I can imagine of a similar level of anticipation is if they were to do a follow-up Detectorists movie!

@ottaross Each segment weighs 250 kg, including the supports. And yes, we have a segment manipulator specially designed to handle this. It will be mounted on a crane that can position it directly above the desired segment. This segment will be then pushed above the rest and grabbed by the manipulator. We're currently testing this device at our headquarters in Germany, stay tuned... ;-)

Funny that one of our cats has to get immediately involved if someone is talking on the phone or a video call.

He's there in a flash to provide moral support and a good background purr.

Got a bag of Empire and a bag of Cortland. Also got a couple of litres of cider.

Empires are my favorite eating apple and Cortland I like for baking.

Eating an Empire now. Brilliantly crisp, firm and tasty.

Made it out to the orchards, and got a couple of bags of apples. There will be pies!

We didn't bother with the wagon ride out to the trees, as the apples are all done. One can still go out and pick up windfalls off the ground for free, though they're getting scarce now they say.

Orchard's season wraps up on Sunday we were told (Mountain Orchards).

I think we missed the pick-your-own phase of apple season, but going to go get some from a local orchard anyway.

I'm always a bit skeptical in the shops this time of year, whether you're getting fresh-picked or they're cleaning out the storage apples.

Did a very pleasant walk just short of 7km.

Hoping to stretch my distances a bit as the temperatures get cooler. No doubt they'll shrink again as snow and slush makes things more unpleasant.

Not a lot of colour in the leaves yet, but this tree on the edge of the college campus is nice and bright.

Mid walk, great temperature.

Glad I have my knapsack with me to shed a layer as needed, but nice and cool.

A bit cool out there. Going for a walk to start the day. About 9°C.

First walk in jeans, as I'm just getting the transition from the summer shorts going lately. 😢

However the coating does not last forever:

➡️ Once the telescope is operating, two segments a day will need to be exchanged to receive a fresh reflective layer, work that our team at Paranal will do throughout the entire ELT operation lifetime.

➡️ To make this possible without ever leaving a hole in the mirror, 133 additional segments have been produced (that is, a total of 931), so that a segment can be taken out for recoating and be immediately replaced.

The Montreal Metro is celebrating their 60th birthday today, as I'm hearing on Montreal CBC radio this morning.
