Paying attention to what mistakes German speakers consistently make in English is highly instructive as to how the equivalent constructions will be unintuitive to me in German. One that I've noticed across multiple languages is whether to make one or both verbs past tense or conditional in compound constructions, e.g.
"Didn't you went there yesterday?"
"I thought that will be helpful"
"I didn't know that will bother you"
These all tell me what the natural construction would be in the speaker's native language. I am always excited to notice such things.

Ich hab versucht ein 360° HDR-Panorama vom Sonnenaufgang über dem Fjord zu machen (78 Einzelbilder mit der DJI)
Das Ergebnis…naja.
Wenn ich Zeit hab mal ein bisschen Feintuning vor dem mergen, dann siehts vielleicht natürlicher aus.

To my fellows that like photography: I would love to have some sort of photo blog with a gallery view to share pictures and albums. What’s your way of sharing pictures these days?
I’m using Glass as a photo gallery of sorts, but it feels so isolated from my presence here and disconnected from my blog, which I intend to dedicate more time to. Pika is not ideal for posting pictures because it lacks a nice way to display them. some.pics is cool, but a bit clunky at the moment.
I’m even thinking about making my own site, but I have no idea about web development and this could take me forever (which is fine; I love learning new stuff, but I’m not sure if I want to invest time in something from scratch before I give up).
