In 2014 I started the first of the online #PKM workshops, based on a model of three activities per week over six weeks to be done as a cohort with a common start and finish date. I would be available to respond to participants and provide support as required, including video calls. This model worked for hundreds of participants from around the world.
It’s now the end of the line.

This is how George Lakoff explains it, “1) Repetition strengthens the synapses in neural circuits that people use in thinking 2) Whoever frames first has an advantage 3) Negating a frame activates and strengthens it.”

We watched the migrating semi-palmated piping plovers just down the road from us. They eat many times their weight in krill shrimp before flying South. Today’s count was about 170,000
Interesting story about being a tree planter in Canada. We know many such planters.
But shouldn't it be called "kindling planting" instead? All they plant are conifers which make for raging wildfires, as we witness each Summer.

Many people I know have noise-cancelling headphones/earbuds. I can understand the desire to unplug but I also like the fact that I am still connected to the world about me with my prehistoric airpods so I know what is happening around me
Fossil fuels make countries dependent on supply chains. Renewables break those chains. This is something the Trump administration is doing everything to halt.
