The European Parliament today failed to reject a revival of the "#chatcontrol 1.0" Regulation that had expired in April. This is not nice, especially after the Parliament had already voted twice against mass scanning of private communications in March. The new vote was only possible because the Member States revived the law and sent it back to Parliament for second reading. But there is also a bright side. (1/X)
