The book shop I use offers a similar old (slightly newer) manga on Mac - called すがやみつる マンガMAC入門 －これならわかる－, where a young office worker is tasked to do some minimal computing, but is puzzled by a new beast: Mac. "Boss, how do I do the job, I don't understand neither DOS nor BASIC?!" And the boss says "No need to fret".

And so instead of writing a small program in BASIC, the boss buys Mac Writer II and all sorts of software. :>
