This morning my water heater broke and I got the bill for my appendectomy with 10 minutes of each other. The water heater is what it is. The other thing? 🤢

Because I think people should be transparent about this shitty situation: I will pay over $7,000 for the surgery, even though I pay hundreds of dollars a month for health insurance. My insurance company claims that they're paying $800, although there's a very real possibility that they're not actually paying that.
