Pack few test tubes like this one in your purse just in case!

(If you don't have any test tubes you can wash out an old pill bottle, punch a large hole in the lid then cover the hole with mesh. This is fine as long as you have a place with water to keep the ant at home.)

Really just order some test tubes. It works so well. Your ants won't dry out and die. Who invented this technique I wonder?
