#AskFedi: LibreOffice Calc date formats.

I know how to make it look how I want on the spreadsheet page, but is there a way to customise how it's represented in the input field?

Context: I'm generally much more likely to be updating the day-number than to be updating the year. And every time I want to edit something like 2026-07-05 to 2026-07-06, it's making me interact with a pesky 05/07/2026, so I can't just land at the end and do a backspace.

I would like the input field itself to give me 2026-07-05.

Is that a thing?
