All most AI detectors show is that their dataset was trained on human-written works. When someone bitches that my Linux and open-source stories were written by AI, I simply reply, "Where do you think the AI learned about Linux and open source?" With several thousand (Yes, thouand) stories on those subjects under my belt, I know exactly where AI learned its lessons.
