So, I did it. I crossed the whole country and got housing. I could not have done it without you. I am happy to be back in NC, I smell challenge and opportunity.
But that whole trip broke my back, it was tough on Minnie, I have had to spend so much money on my car since I got here because that drive put so much wear and tear on it. My cell phone data is far past the breaking point and I just about every other day have to add a couple gigs so I can keep working. Work is going well, I havent taken a day off yet but I have clean laundry and Minnie and I have been eating. I am very happy to enjoy Cheerwine and Bojangles again
What I need to do next is to get internet. Mint says that will take $120. That will stop the hemmorage of my cell phone data.
I need to probably take Minnie to the vet about her poops. She does not enjoy Southern cuisine as much as I do. Estimates currently run at about 80 bucks. Thats a lowball, but I do know a few vets around here who have known me since I was a teenager, I talked to them, 80 bucks is realistic.
I also have, like, no furnishings. 50 is so I can have a place to put my clothes and maybe a desk. I have a couch to sleep on. I have a table and a microwave and running water. This situation is admittedly better than it has been in 5 months, but if anyone could help me get on my feet, well, this weekend is my last chance to make it to a #pride event this year and I would love nothing more than to make it to a pride event this year. Any help to me getting back on my feet makes that more realistic.
