Just another day seeing the people from FOSS and hackers communities being completely hostile to design.

Its not coming from nowhere, its really something by-design (lol) coming from how, by who and why those movements and communities around has been created.

I wont go deep in de sociology behind all that here, but as long as it’s not identified as something systemic that need to be fought and not just “annoying boys will be annoying boys”, as long as there no radical changes on the culture in those movements, the designers will continue to burn themselves out trying to improve things alone without any structural support, and will leave and never go back.
