#today ended up with me deciding I needed to have some of that wonderful elixir. its easier to just head downtown and spend the $0.75 for draft beers and enjoy some conversation. Then Bill showed up and we talked the talk.

Then, I just sat and watched the things turn to other things in #cambodia. The day turned to evening and the tuktuk waited. Took me home and life turned some other corner. But the beer was cold and life was full. And we talked. Only every so often and then we find things about some life to trot out. Life then. Life now.

I got to talk with my friend Paul in Hanoi #today. Mostly about July 4th celebrations his family had back in the US. He shared a few photos and we remembered times spent together years ago when we would meet for coffee in the mornings or a dinner by the lake at night. West Lake always was this place I could just go. Five minutes from my apartment yet filled with the most wonders. This was from about 2021 one day when the sunset seemed to fill the scene with glorious colors. Vietnamese people enjoyed going and eating the food, drinking the beer, talking. West Lake was always a companion. Thanks Paul. Thanks #hanoi .

Tonight I got to test out my 3d printed light tunnel. I pulled out the most reflective object I could find, a piece of Bismuth metal and shot it a 4X magnification. I really need to reconnect my external monitor so I do not have to use the 3in camera display. Here is the results.
