I can't help but conclude/hope that this was a very profitable pivot for a synth nerd somewhere.

One for @kwf and the other folks here who like (literal) trains: 3d printed replicas of historical train whistles, including some thingiverse links to print your own. (Eye, hand, and ear protection all seem to be pretty non-optional for operating these, which is impressive for something that doesn't move.)
