I installed #NixOS with #KDE in my spouse's laptop some time ago along with her #windows installation. Now when windows messed up something and didn't boot, she tried KDE for the first time. She : How do I turn on bluetooth?
Me: Just start the #krunner (Alt+Space) & type bluetooth
She: what? I have to type to just get bluetooth on?
Me: No. But believe me, it's faster than clicks
She: I wanna set dark mode.

The diffs are really helpful to be honest. A small but impactful improvement in workflow.
In my jj config, I used difftastic as the default diff tool. Thanks to home manager I already got an option to just to my jj config🙂.

Was just checking out some tvix talks, the tvix-store is certainly attractive with even the replit blog mentioning about 90% storage reduction in cache storage. Even devenv switched to tvix.

But I couldn't see any docs on how can I start using it in my nixos or atleast for nix shells, etc

Am I missing out something or any views on this would help me

Ansible(convergent) is like carving a wood, where u have some existing state like plain wood which u tinker continuously until u achieve the expected state

These days I see more content creations than last year for nix, but still nix is something many misunderstand as hard to begin with. I plan to ease the initial friction.

In future,
any terminal, browser, terminal multiplexers, window managers all will have a common UX pattern like
1) Vertical or horizontal tabs
2) tiling, scrollable tiling(like niri)
etc etc for a similar UX for easier engagement and management.

Taking the features of one from the other will bring this soon❤️

Club some rooms then, u have space, and u can have another space inside a space. It's just that good. This way any rooms in a space can be decoupled or just replicated to another space. This is really a cool potential IMO.

This is really useful for organisations for teams and chat management.

Discord honestly is a good UI/UX for multi level chat organisations. I thought why we couldn't have something like that for matrix.

Then I discovered cinny, which is really cool. And now after using it for a while honestly it just clicked me that matrix way of organising really have true potential coz the method is better than discord.

In matrix everything is a room, so with that as building block we can have any type.
