being tired is making me struggle with fucking simple network routing between 3 subnets

i'm trying to add a subnet to 2 existing ones on a hypervisor
normally a really simple task, but apparently i'm too incompetent rn

vms in the new subnet somehow do not reach the other subnets even though the routing is set up correctly
the vms can reach their gateway, but the gateway doesn't reach the vms (even when i test the connection using an interface that's in the new subnet)

i'm 10000000000% sure it's something stupid simple i'm just missing because i'm frustrated
but so far i did not want to analyze why the fuck some subnet i set up in the exact way as the others is now tripping

well i'm not asking for advice, i'm just angered at how braindead i am

i had to go into the city today and the heat fucking broke me, especially being in a overcrowded train that felt like a sauna for 30 min (not because the ride was that long for me, it stood still for 15 min due to previously delayed trains)

indoors isn't much better tho

i ate something small a few hours ago and now my stomach also fucking hurts

@whitequark who would know that after making piles of junk electronics that artificially need upgrading every year we'd run out of the stuff required to make said electronics

One thing many folks don’t think about is how hard it is to fight fire in hot temperatures. My medics have an entire “firefighter rehab” protocol. You get pulled off the apparatus, sent over for temp and vitals checks, and may have to get fluids and so forth. If you don’t get better, off to the hospital. In summer structure fires, we drop crew members to heat illness quickly no matter how attentive we are.
