The Train Of Secrets

“Tickets please.” I droned, walking the aisle of the train, occasionally holding onto the back of a seat for balance. The train tonight is loud, making my job unpleasant. The rocking, the clickety-clacking, the talking and the thoughts of the people aboard the train crowd in on me, surrounding me, trapping me in a bubble of cacophonous noise which makes my head thump.
Everyone, everything on board this train has a secret. The blonde woman sitting next to the business man in the grey suit is skipping dinner with her husband to see her lover. The businessman himself holds a secret, one so dark that if his work found out, he wouldn’t be a businessman anymore. The mother, thrusting a crumpled bundle of paper at me while she tries to soothe her screaming infant knows she hasn’t got the ticket, but hopes I won’t examine the paper she proffers, her chipped glitter polish winks at me. It knows the secret, I know the secret, and the train knows the secret. the train itself has a secret. It will derail soon, tired of working. Tired of carrying people and their germs. And I, will delight in that. relish it. Hold the secret close, for I am the secret keeper of the train. And we, my dear passengers are aboard the train of secrets.

I live in an apartment with a call system that calls down to support workers who work in the building. There are 10 apartments set out for this purpose. We each have a calling system that connects to the support workers downstairs on a phone. My calling system has been malfunctioning lately. It sends out multiple spam calls all at once, even when I haven't used it. The last time I intentionally used this thing was back in early May. It's now Mid-june and this has been going on since Mid May. So This thing just spam calls them. Sometimes they get 75 calls in the space of 2 minutes. Each time it happens I communicate I don't need anything, that the system is malfunctioning. So now comes the question. Any idea what could be causing this, and any solutions? I'll post a video showing what happens in this thread.

Any tips for working with substack? People are insistant i post my writing somewhere. I personally find it a little clunky.

Woken up twice last night by a defective intercom system in my apartment. First was at 12:50AM. Then got woken up at 5:30 by the same system. Went downstairs for gym, checked my mail on the way out and left my keys in the mailbox. GOt home, realised my airpods were cruising down the road in my support worker's vehicle.

Update. I found a solution and I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. I've created a google form and everyone just fills in the form. Looking for an app or solution to a thing that I am trying to solve.

I have a team of support workers who work with me. We have a WhatsApp chat for shift coordination, but what I am wanting is something for them to write shift notes in that i can read as well as them. A regular notebook just doesn't work, and a lot of support workers are split across email platforms and mobile devices, so whatever solution must be multi device and accommodate multiple emails providers. any suggestions?
