I could then maybe reference the images by their local paths and have eleventy traslate them to CDN URLs during build :nkoThink:

Thinking about how to work with images and videos on my static site. They are hosted on Cloudinary CDN, and I don't want to burden the hosting provider nor codeberg with having them in the repo.

However, if Cloudinary goes down, moving elsewhere would be really annoying - and that kinda ruins the point of having my own static site.

I should setup some gitignored folder with the assets and an index file mapping them to their online urls. Moving to another CDN could then be easily automated...

tento a další komentáře paní nerudová konečně ̶s̶̶m̶̶a̶̶z̶̶a̶̶l̶̶a̶ EDIT: nesmazala. nevím kdy přesně, ale byly tam ještě týdny po tom co se ukázalo, že to opravdy byla armáda spojených států kdo zavraždil 120 íránských školaček raketou během své ilegální války. žádnou omluvu jsem nezaznamenal. ale tak hlavně že jí to nebrání dál poukazovat na dezinformace šířené ostatními politiky. musí přeci zachránit demokracii 🙃

I finally published my new project, the Banned Book Library! Think of it as a #Cyberpunk dead drop. Reprogram an #esp32 WiFi light bulb to host a web server with books banned in your community. Screw them in wherever is convenient :D. You can't stop the signal!
