It was interesting. I like consistent UIs.

But for the Reg to ask “why aren’t people respecting the look and feel of eg Microsoft Windows” after decades of writing “Why windows sucks and is ugly and monopolistic” suggests some…lack of reasonable reflection.

I feel like my fascination with #NeXT and #retrocomputing is an attempt to butterfly effect to moments like this and choose the path of creativity and difference from gloriously malleable APIs (in objective c).

Just realized #debian 12 had reached an ending. Also my server was running me a lot of money. Needed to upgrade os and downscale fast. Was talking through options with Claude for #nixos and when it got complex I said: how about Debian 13 and I migrate these condos. Agreed #claude
