I'm really grateful for seeing @EUCommission, @digitaleu and others embracing #mastodon. ❤️
Let's show the world that #eu can do it right!

GitHub was very convenient due to their CI/CD but I really don't like the direction of big tech, in particular here, Microsoft.
I'm slowly migrating away my repositories to Codeberg, a non-profit and community-led public git, where my websites are automatically built and deployed by Woodpecker CI, which I host in my own homelab.
#opensource can really be amazing! 🤯😳

@WoodpeckerCI, I love your tool! For servers that are not reachable externally, are you planning a feature that checks the repo periodically and only executes the pipeline if there was a recent change in forge?
I know a bash script with cron job can achieve this.
Part 2:
- You can copy/paste from and to the android container, which is great if you use a password manager like Bitwarden.
- Camera works fine
- I'm able to receive calls when the phone is on sleep (I'm genuinely surprised)
- Flatpak enabled out of the box. The Bazaar store works great (has great mobile section!)
- Has hardware killswitches for Camera, SIM and Microphone.
- Bluetooth, Hotspot, Wifi, 4G in Ireland works fine.
A very quick mini review of running a #flx1s by @furilabs as a daily driver:
Part 1
- There is an additional button called "assistant", which lets you configure quick press, long and double press, handy for quick shortcuts like screenshot and camera
- Android container comes with MicroG and #froid and can start automatically (amazing to receive whatsapp notifications).
- GPS works for the android container, great for navigation with Organic Maps!
Hello from my new daily driver, FLX1s. : )

One of the major reasons I like to use Linux is how the people come together and share their high-quality contributions.
As an example, I was using the web client for Jellyfin to listen to my music until I came across an app called Gelly. Ascetically pleasing and functional music player that I now use daily.
Thank you! ❤️
Thank you, Microslop, for gracefully extended Copilot to my Office 365 Enterprise Outlook experience at work. Now when I double click a number to copy/paste from an email, it now de-selects the double-clicked number to present you a Copilot button instead.
I can't believe this kind of sloppiness in 2026. Thank you for ruining one of the very few experiences I actually enjoyed from your company.
Anyone proficient with PeerTube? I'm trying to move away from YouTube and follow my favourite content creators via PeerTube (mostly Linux, Coding, Tech, Eve Online and Star Citizen).
What is your recommendation about creating an account or on which server that is well connected to discover those contents? Thank in advance!
I usually don't post these kind of things but I was just over at twitter and this angered me:
- I'm not living in the UK
- The author of the post is not in the UK
- Twitter is not from the UK
Yet I'm still asked to be surveilled upon, sitting here in Ireland.
Mixx, an open-source DJ software working well with Numarc Scratch mixer and two Turntables. I can use Vynils and the mixer to control the sound file being played on the laptop, just like proprietary software, no hassle.
Thank you, @mixx@floss.social, for allowing me continue my passion also on #ubuntu #linux.
I have been testing the new 25.06 update for PostmarketOS on my OnePlus 6T and I must say the team has done an amazing work! Camera, GPS, Android apps and general system works well and is now, in my opinion daily driveable. Everything I personally wanted!
Thank you, @postmarketOS@treehouse.system! 🥳🤯
Anyone running Windows 10, please take a minute and have a look at https://endof10.org/.
I get it... I don't want to learn something new again, but this may be surprising.
Linux has improved dramatically and is arguably better in many aspects:
- Does not track or spy on you be default
- Does not require a 100 dollar/eur license
- Does not force you to buy a new PC
- Great for daily use and gaming.
The EU is putting repairability rating labels on phones and tablets in June
Thank you!
